Review by: Joy Chuah on June 28, 2011 : (no rating)
This was recommended to me by my fellow GR friend, Mocha. She told me it was good. It was. The beginning was great and alien. I was glad to read something different rather than the usual werewolves, vampires thing. The idea of other worldly dimensions creatures crossing and breaking through the earth's quarantine was interesting. It was totally new and eye-opening. This is my first book about aliens using humans as a vessel to collect wyk (energy) and harvesting human blood. *shivers*

The only problem(s) I had was the blurb kind of ruined the surprise and mystery surrounding Aric. It shouldn't have revealed that he was a whisperer/seducer/charmer for the Innakis (the aliens). Although the storyline was good, there were many times when I could predict what would actually happened - and it did. The romance is those insta-love kind. Sweet, iffy and cheesy.

In my opinion, this is a rather light and breezy read - at least for me. Different but easy to understand and get through in a few hours.
