This is erotica at its blandest, I'm afraid. There's a token attempt to give the main character, Scarlet some kind of background and raison d'etre, which is better than nothing, but then it's a very prosaic attempt to titilate by describing that character sneaking away from her sleeping husband for a 'bit of the other' with his friend who is in a neighbouring bedroom.
The descriptions are basic and mundane. There's little sense of feeling or emotion. Even the experience of Scarlet having having her first orgasm in ages is limited a mention that 'my whole body shivered'.
The writer needs to learn that good erotica stems from characters with depth, a deeper exploration of emotion and sensuality, a more enticing build-up and intelligent imagery to represent the actual lovemaking. Crude, repetitive mentions of genital areas drag it down to a level akin to a young teenager trying hard to impress his peers by daring to use rude words.
There were also a few errors evident in this short piece. For example 'my husband's fried Ed', 'Ed still worked out and had a muscular built' and so on. And the book's interior has the title as ' Urges of a Rich Wife' rather than Trophy Wife.
