About the Series: DRAWN
When artistic prodigy Juliet Brynn discovers that her artwork can predict the future, she finds herself on a journey that leads her into places she could never have imagined and would never have chosen otherwise. As her family falls apart, friends go their own directions, and her last hope for security and strength abandons her, Juliet battles the arbitrary chaos of a world without mercy, the clash of promised hope versus relentless despair, and the irreconcilable conflicts of a soul that aches for what it cannot keep and refuses to lay claim to that which it needs the most.

Deo Volente is a fabulous book as a sequel or it could even stand alone. (but why not read Drawn first it was great) Wonderful writing by Maria Keffler wit some very unexpected twists and turns. I can hardly put it down, I want to finish it but I don't want to finish it as that makes it over. There is a 3rd to look forward to though.

I highly recommend this book for teens and adults! Thank you Maria for fabulous reading!

What an emotional journey! I needed to keep reading until approaching where I just knew there was upcoming hard stuff. Then I had to take a break for a couple days to brace myself before diving right back in to finish it. I so enjoyed watching Juliet come to more mature realizations about herself and the world and others but it so pained me to see her in such emotional turmoil! There are so many aspects of her story that I can relate to. It is somewhat like facing my own hidden turmoil and dealing with my griefs while cheering Juliet on through her own. I'm off to read the third book Daemonia!

Another fascinating installment of Damon and Julie's developing relationship. I'm not sure how this adult author can be so in tune with the teenage mind, but it's on point again in Deo Volente. From the growing attraction to the disappointment with family dynamics to the awkward and sometimes heart-breaking friendships, Deo Volente tackles it all! And with the unique twist of Julie's "gift" woven throughout, it was an original story worth my time. Thanks, Ms. Keffler. Can't wait for the third installment!
