About Russell Turney

Writing came to me very late in my life. After years working a well paid job for a New Zealand government department, I gave it all up and hit the road, travelling to north america on three occasions. On the second trip, I finally sat down and began to learn my new craft. My first book was self published six months later. A small notebook I carry has ideas for another twelve plus fiction books plus two non-fiction, including some of the 12,000+ photos I've collected on my continuing travels.

I love this book. The characters are quirky, complex, and realistic. The author keeps you wondering what will happen next. Tough Justice was a fun ride and a great read. It was hard to say goodbye to the characters on the last page. Sequel please.

Well written, great pace, intriguing characters. The mix of romance, action, and thrills blend perfectly. A good flow.

The descriptions of the setting makes me want to visit the area and see these places for myself.

Looking forward to the next book. Keep them coming.

Tough Justice is a great read. Edgy, fast, entertaining. Suspense, love, humor. The things that make a great book.

Love the New Zealandese phrases and the cloaked education. Definitely not boring.

Page 117 made us want to buy the Enchanted Forest that is also on Smashwords. Wow. An under-priced piece!! Quite lovely... sensual.

We recommend Tough Justice highly. We recommend the Enchanted Forest also! When will your next book be done?

This is a well paced thriller based in and around Wellington, New Zealand.

The plot and pace were just right to keep me interested and reading, perhaps, beyond my bedtime!

Many Wellington landmarks are represented, along with some good Kiwi humour and ingenuity.

Well done Russell.
