About Anne Copeland

I've been in love with words seems like forever. I remember when I was in high school, a very good and young lady English teacher came to my desk to deliver a paper I had written in her class. She bent down and whispered to me that I was going to be a great writer and editor. I never forgot that and went home and had a business card printed with writer/editor on it and I carried it all through college. And I did end up having a lot of writing, editing and even reporting jobs. I learned so many things and I think I loved best, learning through my writing all about the world in a way I never would have from just reading about those things. It was like putting myself into those worlds and becoming one of the characters or other things that I would write about. When I learned about becoming a cryptographer, I imagined the cryptograph machine, I experienced in my mind how it worked. So this has been my writing life. I am an artist, and I don't just like to create mixed media and fiber arts and interactive art; I love to read and write about it, and this is what I have pretty much done. Life should never be a bunch of apologies for what we wish we could have, would have, should have done. I am feeling very happy that I have done so many things in my lifetime and my writing has been the base for most all of it.
