About H. Schussman

I currently live in Northern California with my husband of 29 years and our crazy little cat, Loca. I travel at least 6 weeks a year throughout Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean, and Italy. I recently retired as a Physical Therapist to write full time. I specialized in Cognitive Disorders, Psychiatric Disorders, PTSD, Amputees, and general Geriatrics and Veterans. I'm also a guest lecturer at CSUS for the Doctorate Physical Therapy program.

I love to work in my garden and to spend the afternoon wine tasting with my husband. For exercise I enjoy swimming laps at the local pool and going for early morning speed walks.

My husband, writing, traveling, and my patients are my passions.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was gripping from the beginning, and fast moving without losing you in the plot twists with a tasteful touch of romance. I await the sequel.

I loved this book. It was a fun read with lots of twists and turns. The characters were fun (or detestable!), but certainly interesting. The scenic descriptions were easy to picture in my mind's eye. The plot had me going from the beginning. I think this would make a great movie! Can't wait until Heidi's next book comes out.
