About Tossia Mitchell

Tossia Mitchell is a novelist, poet, and short-story writer. She has also written articles that have been published in various newspapers. She holds degrees from Douglas College and the University of Northern British Columbia.

Tossia was raised on gorgeous Denman Island in British Columbia. Her father was a Sargent Major in the British Army during WWII; he was on the beach on D-Day. Tossia’s husband Gary was the head chocolatier for Purdy’s in Vancouver until he recently passed away.

As a behavior interventionist, Tossia works with children with autism and delayed speech. She owns her own business and privately sees 25 students every week.
