About Regina Scott

Regina Scott started writing novels in the third grade. Thankfully for literature as we know it, she didn’t actually sell her first novel until she had learned a bit more about writing. Since her first Regency romance was published in 1998, her stories have traveled the globe, with translations in many languages including Dutch, German, Italian, and Portuguese. She is now the author of more than 50 works of warm, witty historical romance.

She and her husband of over 30 years live south of Tacoma, Washington, on the way to Mt. Rainier. She has driven four in hand, dressed like a Regency dandy, learned to fence, and sailed on a tall ship, all in the name of research, of course.

Reviews of Never Doubt a Duke by Regina Scott

Fun clean romance. Jane is a vicars daughter and a widow who has a habit of going against convention. Jane has been taken in by Miss Thorn and her cat Fortune. Miss Thorn seems to have all the right connections and a plethora of information and through this is able to place Jane as a governess with the Duke of Wey. Wey is your typical attractive Duke who is sworn to obligations, to the point that he barely knows his own daughters. Thanks to Jane's insight and pushing the limits Wey builds relationships with his daughters and a deep respect for Jane. Will they stick to the lines of society or will they realize they are perfect for each other? The conversations and emotions were well portrayed. It was nice to read a regency romance where the characters are rather intelligent. There were some pieces of the story that felt left undone. This is a fun quick read that is not quite a cliffhanger but definitely set up for additional stories for second level characters.

Love reading it ..
It is not your normal regency with balls and heroines with no brains but engaging all the same.
