Thanks for all those who review, it is wonderful to hear from you and given your honest opinions really clarify how you feel about my books, and it is extremely appreciated.
If it's children's books you are interested in, try the Willy Series or Doggie Heroes. I just finished Tanker, the Defender.
I change my covers off an on. If there is an old cover you prefer let me know by writing me at email@example.com. I did go back to one of my earlier versions of Runaway Bride, it just seemed to fit better. Revamped Pretend Mom and Strictly Business. Nick's Baby got a new face too.
I've started a couple of new series. The Red River Valley Brides, this one is a sensual series. Brides of the West is a sweet series. Both of these series has books out. So look for Heart of a Lady, Last Bride,Last Man is on sale Winning the Bride is released. Brides of the West Series will be my longest series, I plan twenty books, I'm working on book Nine right now, Wherever My Heart Roams. The Armstrong Series will be a new one, set in the civil war times. I'm also finishing up on Dancing With the Preacher Man, and Maggie's Dreams. Hope you enjoy those too. I have put a low price on my box sets that have recently come out, just recently Brides of the West Part One. I've reduced the prices of some of my older single books in case you want to pick one of those up and try it. Books like Nick's Baby, Runaway Bride, Pretend Mom, so look for those if you want a bargain.
I have a civil war series coming out soon, it is the story of two twin brothers and their two cousins. Forever in Love, Remember Me, A Rebel's Love, and Plunder My Heart, this is exciting news for me, as I love this era.
Over at CreateSpace you will find that I've put all the mid-grade short stories into one collection, and the adult short stories into another, look for Thinking Time, and Romancing the Short Stories. Also, the Tina series is now available in print in one volume at Create Space. If it's a print book you are looking for, you'll find all my books in print there.
You might have noticed that I have skipped a couple of my books in Red River Valley Brides, but look for Dancing With the Preacherman, and Maggie's Dreams to complete that series soon. The reason for the skip is very simple, some books come slower than others. I write from pure inspiration and sometimes this is frustrating because without the inspiration I can't deliver what I think is a really good read, so I wait until it hits me, so to speak. And it always does, just not always in sequence.
I haven't written many contemporaries lately, but Avalanche of the Heart released a while back finished the Travers Brothers Series. A new Contemporary series, "the Connor's" is coming your way with Cinderella Nanny Book one of the Connor's.
Also a new cowboy contemporary series "Cowboy Lovin'. ". This will be sometime in the future.
I'm also playing with a sequel to Nick's Baby, it's Jackson's story, this was requested by more than one reader so it is in progress too.
All in all. I've got about twenty books I am working on. So stay tuned, because I am writing full time and working like a bee to get them out to you. I've set a goal of a book a month, and so far it is working pretty well. Since I'm retired now, I have more time to devote to my writing. I'm always in the process of learning too, and doing research for my books.
For a different kind of read I suggest my Western Serial Killer Series. I have three of them out now. These are not romances, they are definitely thrillers. Quite graphic. I guess you could call this the dark side.
I'm working on a short novella, Cowboy Angels that should be out this new year too.
In my romances, you will find many different circumstances. This is because we all fall in love differently and I'm trying to cover all the ways. From boy and girl next door, to instant attraction. I've always been a romantic so I spend a lot of time thinking along the lines of "how did you fall in love". There are so many stories this way. I hope you like some of them.
Look around, I've got short stories for adults, and children. I've got historical western romance, I've got contemporary romances. All of them different in some way. Doing many genres is fun and keeps a writers mind fresh I think.
I work on more than one book at a time. How do I keep them straight? Well, as I write I re-read the beginning of the manuscript. This way I can add things I might think of to the story to flesh it out. I also try to catch a lot of errors along the way.
Browse the series books too, you'll get that warm and cozy feeling with the Travers Brothers Series, and discover The Amory's a bunch of rugged men from the north country. There's something for everyone here, including the kids. I hope you stay long enough to sample some, and by all means if you feel like it and you read one of my books or stories, write a review about it. I love hearing from my readers. There's a lot of books in the making these days. So stay tuned.
One other thing I'd like to mention, my books sell at ITUNES, Amazon, Smashwords.com, Kobo Books, and Barnes and Noble, and a few other places. The print books can be bought at Createspace, any time you buy at Createspace, you are helping the author a great deal.
Look for sales off and on, dropping prices on certain books and especially the big sales at Smashwords every year. Books are so much cheaper on sale. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you find something of interest. Have a wonderful day!

I don't generally read this type of book, but loved the story. How the writer laid it all out was great as well with a few surprises thrown in for good measure. Made me purchase other books written by the author. Great read!

Now this is not my typical genre of book so I will do my best to not let my review be skewed by that fact. I approached this book fully knowing it was a romance and fully knowing that it would probably follow a certain dynamic. With that said I found this book to be a refreshing aside from most romance books with rather witty prose and a writing style that keeps you looking to the next page. I was fully taken back by the author's style and wish her luck in any future novels.

Nick's Baby was entertaining, very believable, and highly compelling as I turned each page. From Kelsey and Nick's first meeting I was hooked. With deep emotion and desperation flowing from Kelsey and Nick's sense of family and responsibility depicted in Ms. Hestand's unique style, I could not put this one down once I started it. I read it straight through. The passion was palpable between Nick and Kelsey and I applauded Nick's later handling of a delicate situation. Highly entertaining read and I gave it five stars.

What a wonderful story! I was sure from the blurb that this novel would be entertaining, but I didn't realize the range of emotions the story would extract. I found myself laughing out loud, heartbroken and feeling the high sexual tension the two main characters felt for each other. Nick and Kelsey are powerful together and Nick was so easy to fall for.
What I really didn't expect was to so thoroughly enjoy the secondary characters, including Nick's family and Kelsey's mother. And if Ms. Hestand doesn't write a sequel telling Jackson's story, I'm going to throw a fit! *g*
This is one of the best novels I've read recently and I can't wait to explore more of Ms. Hestand's books.
