It is nice to hear how others have found their way through the handmade business world. Even those who have been in the business will find something inspirational in Rise and Shine. I'm sure I will read parts of it again to help spark motivation and creativity.

Review by: Cinzia Allocca on Oct. 31, 2011 :
I found Alissa's voice to be one of encouragement and positivity. Her knowledge of and her own success in the 'handmade' business world is evident. I found that alot of the information provided, I already knew and had read about elsewhere. Rise and Shine did provide some more in-depth exploration of the topics. Overall, I enjoyed the book and would recommend it for those who are beginning to think about turning their passion into profit.
One more suggestion: I would recommend that the pages be numbered, as this was not a bound book but a bunch of loose pages that I printed out myself.
