Who are your favorite authors?
I have many favorites, but currently my favorite author in the webcomic industry is Gina Biggs.
What is your writing process?
My writing process is to relax and take my time with my stories. World building requires time and effort as well as a clear mind. Working on stories with a refreshed mind is wonderful.
When did you first start writing?
My official start to writing was in the early to mid-2000's when I was in middle school. I wrote ideas for stories, participated in a writing contest on Neopets.com, and wrote any story that I believed would work. Now that I'm starting down the path to getting officially published, it's a nerve-racking journey but one that is worth the risk and reward.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
Listening to inspirational stories and pushing myself to continue writing.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
Creating a story and building the world around the story. Knowing your story, the characters within it, the world they occupy, and so on is an enjoyable experience.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
Knowing that each day is going to be better than the last. That and my alarm clock.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I was born and raised in California until freshman year of high school. Most of my influence came from either the internet or real life experiences.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Outside of writing, I enjoy listening to a wide variety of music and drawing.
What do you read for pleasure?
It depends on what I'm in the mood to read.
What's the story behind your latest book?
Currently, my latest book is a collection of short stories called OF LOVE AND LOSS. If you enjoy emotional stories about the loss of a loved one, or loss of love in general, this collection is the one for you. Please view the book description for more information about the stories.
