How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
I am able to self publish my books here and Smashwords gives the platform to reach out my books throughout the stores worldwide.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
I love writing. I have always been more of a writer than a story teller. My mind is blank otherwise, but when I sit in front of my writing assignment, my thoughts are aligned and flow smoothly.
What do your fans mean to you?
My fans mean a lot to me. They give me the required motivation to come up with better work every time.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
Writing inspires me. I am able to create something new each day.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
When I am not writing, I spend my time exercising. I consider myself to be a fitness specialist. I also love to bake and I am good at cooking. I love to be with my family which consists of my husband and our two kids. I love reading books from other authors and also watch movies.
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
I love reading. I like books where the plot is good and the english is perfect.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Yes. The first story I ever wrote was about the Nothing Island.
What is your writing process?
I get turned on by an idea. That idea will cultivate in my mind and then I get passionate about writing about it. Once I get into the character and start writing, I am immersed. I myself wouldn't know what my character is going to achieve next, because my thoughts keep flowing. There isn't any definite plan once I start writing.
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
Elizabeth - The Naughtiest Girl at School. This was my first book that I read and after that I never stopped reading.
What are your five favorite books, and why?
I love to read mostly mystery books because I find them interesting.
What do you read for pleasure?
I read fiction.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
I read print books.
When did you first start writing?
I started writing when I was ten years old.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
I imagined myself being an author someday and became one.
Who are your favorite authors?
J.K.Rowling and Stephen King.
Describe your desk
My desk is simple. There's just a computer, keyboard, mouse and a fan.
What book marketing techniques have been most effective for you?
I continuously keep writing every day. Thus, no time for doing any marketing.
