Interview with Hiker Angel

What do you read for pleasure?
I primarily read romance, mystery, and urban fantasy books as my guilty pleasure. I’m a sucker for a sexy romance but like it even better when it’s tucked inside a fantastic world.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
The kindle app on my iPad.
What book marketing techniques have been most effective for you?
None have been as effective as I’d like. If you have suggestions for me, I’m all ears! :)

Poetry.

October 2019
What's the story behind your latest book?
It was a commissioned story that the patron was gracious enough to allow me to sell.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
I love to write. I’d love to be able to do it full time someday.
How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
More exposure to a broader audience, hopefully.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
Crafting beautiful imagery with my prose and poetry.
What do your fans mean to you?
They keep me going, and I love them so much! :)

A plethora of commissioned stories.

Debra Dunbar, Annette Marie, and Brian Sanderson
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
The opportunity to write.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Working out, reading, or watching television.

Recommendations from friends and other work by authors I like.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Yep. ;)

For commissioned work, I plan and outline. For my own stuff, I often pants it.
