When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Running around after kids! - school runs, grocery runs, park runs, cooking runs, cleaning runs ... ermmm .. yeah, and I don't particularly run.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
The fact that I wake up and get to experience life here with my loved ones is enough inspiration to get out of bed. I'm a busy mum, but I always find time to appreciate the many facets of my life.
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
Articles, personal interests, friends.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
No. Probably something childish and whimsical. I possessed a vivid imagination as a child - Oh, I still do!
What is your writing process?
I have a big notepad, several actually. In these notepads you might find a brief numbered chapter description, lots of notes about characters, random words and a page dedicated for each chapter as I write.
I like to see the ocean when I write. It helps to clear my mind and supplies my inspiration.
Meditation helps too.
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
Night by Elie Wiesel. We had to read this for an English class in high school one year. I think it was my first real account of the Holocaust and the Nazi German concentration camps. The story shook me to my foundation, I felt angry, heartbroken and helpless. I'll never forget how it moved me.
How do you approach cover design?
I go with what feels right for the book. The vision will always come if you ask.
What are your five favorite books, and why?
A Stone for Danny Fisher by Harold Robbins - I've read this about five times - brilliant reading.

Angels and Demons by Dan Brown - Racy, heart-thumping action - love it!

Jessica by Bryce Courtenay - I loved this Australian outback novel. Captivating, interesting and heart-wrenching.

Wishes Fulfilled by Wayne Dyer - like my bible. Brilliant teacher. Beautiful man.

Destiny by Sally Beauman - I fell in love with everything about this novel. Sally knows how to write a love story teaming with unexpected twists. Entertainment plus!
What do you read for pleasure?
Thrillers, Self-empowering books and anything written with heart and courage.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
iphone. I need an ipad ...
Describe your desk
Organised chaos, lots of kids paintings and an old Zane Grey advert above my head.
