Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
Yes! Vividly!
It left a life long impression on me... it was a book by Plato, the Roman philosopher.
How do you approach cover design?
It has to reflect the content of the novel, be on the same vibration
What are your five favorite books, and why?
I dont remember the titles, but they all are about real world corporate intrigue, I like to read stories which show how incredible and tortuous human nature is in real life.
What do you read for pleasure?
entertainment magazines and my own novels
What is your e-reading device of choice?
like hard copy books
What book marketing techniques have been most effective for you?
reaching out to my circle and expand from there through social media and different internet selling patforms.
Describe your desk
sparse, neat and ordered, big reclinable computer screen, no wires, see through glass desk, contemporary.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in Paris, France, went to school in Germany, then England. It gave me a rich palette to draw from, and a great understanding of different cultures, resulting in greater depth in writing.
When did you first start writing?
When I was six, or seven years old, mainly poetry, but it took me many years to finally decide to seat down and write a full fledge novel
What's the story behind your latest book?
a fictionalised expression of personal experiences, and a very rich experience and understanding of women's psychology...It is a story depicting the life of a young, exceptional woman who struggles with life as a woman, and ends up conquering the world, a great roller coaster story imitating life itself.
What motivated you to become an indie author?

I don't know yet, just started!
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
I get to surprise myself, and am marveled by the words and stories I come up with
What do your fans mean to you?
Everything! It is such a special feeling to have fans, it means you brought something to their life, enhanced it... a beautiful feeling
What are you working on next?
I am writing the sequel of "Lady Lay", as we speak!!! it will be a very hot and special book!!
Who are your favorite authors?
1) the classic old Roman and Greek philosophers
2) Harold Robbins
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
To be the Best Lionel I can be in every way! A wonderful, demanding challenge!
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Working, as I do conduct business also. I am involved in high caliber sales in Real Estate and Automobiles, presently working with Sotheby's, Rolls-Royce Motorcars and Ferrari.... constantly working!!
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
By reading Entertainment magazines
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
As a youngster, I did write poetry, and as I studied classic French Literature, I perfected my craft, which in classic poetry is very rigid and rules driven, intellectual exercises of sort!
What is your writing process?
Just set up writing schedule and follow it with great discipline... the only way!
Is your present novel "Lay Lay" part of a series? If so, what is the ultimate goal?
Yes, "Lady Lay" is part of a trilogy which follows the life of its heroine Mirabella, from age 15 to her last days... my goal is to turn this series into a movie franchise.
