Interview with Morgan Burns

Published 2021-03-03.
What's the story behind your latest book?
Well, I am a reader as well. So I have been keeping up on writing along as I read on my ereader. These are highlights and notes for my blog. Field sputum clearance
What motivated you to become an indie author?
I have a lot on my mind that I want to share with the world. I believe it is about more than capital finance. I am trying to take two ends of a story from the world around me and bring them together to meet in agreement.
How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
Smashwords edition is great! The difference in the distribution network and easy interface is simple.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
I enjoy the writing process entirely. I try to have fun with it, basically like sitting here now noshing.
What do your fans mean to you?
I care about you and your family. I love people and my audience as well. I want to make you happy. I also think I have a story to tell and that is worth something. I think people like a good story and that it means something. My fans are people too just like you and I think I help you.
What are you working on next?
Well because I am feeling so paranoid about the invisible neighbors and imaginary aliens I am taking a break from some of my earlier activity. I am working on notes for LSAIS and talking about the nexxus and the break up of the Soviet Union in the United States. Rome wasn't burned in a day. Those who remember the past are doomed to repeat it. Like the Mexican drug war in the United States. I think that as the world spirals out of control it is important to look back at history and see if there are any lessons learned we can put to good use in the present era time situation.
Who are your favorite authors?
Oh I like JK Rowling, I remember reading Harry Potter and thinking what a magical world. As if the story could be true. Dumbledore and Hermoine the wand and diagon alley all of possible some how?
Steven King is another author I like. I learned to read one summer on Martha's Vineyard when I was very young by looking at the Creepshow comic book.
There are more: William Gibson, Robert Heinlein, Frank Herbert, Aldous Huxley. I read all of the Carlos Castaneda books when I was in highschool. Jack Karouac, there are more
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
I like to keep busy. I don't want to sit around and be a bum all day. The early bird catches the worm and I believe that.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I have a bunch of stuff I need to do. Like the video show. Social Central! The podcast and websites. News. Morgan Burns is Alive! The Morgan Carter Burns Show. Main Time. Me llamo Moe Moe. Smoking & drinking party time. I have a new smart watch that tracks all my activity and monitors my daily life routine.
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
I think it is like a syndrome, a number of contributing factors. I want to know who you are and be with you. I love you and I miss you. Look at me now! More together with the world and how to find answers to questions yourself deep down inside. What is happening and why?
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Yeah, I had a composition book in elementary school that I wrote stories in for class. It was in third grade at Witchcraft Heights in Salem, Massachusetts. The story was about a war that had destroyed the city and the group of soldiers were chased into an underground bunker by a ghostlike black unseen alienlike enemy. Later in a forest a skunk came down from space like Superman and saved his new friends the other woodland creatures from a badger in their forest.
