What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
my kids inspire me to get out of bed. Most of the time they are up and running about way too early!
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
when I'm not writing I will be in my vegetable garden.
What is your writing process?
when I write everything will be in point form which i later expand on.
How do you approach cover design?
For my cover design I try and make it tell a story before anyone opens the book.
What do you read for pleasure?
For pleasure I read different articles regarding social aspects affecting different people in different societies
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in Zimbabwe, attending public schools gave me a chance to learn the different backgrounds of my school mates and how it influenced who they were or what they aspired to be in future and their general choices in life
When did you first start writing?
I started writing my thoughts and experiences last year in 2014 as a way to let out my emotions but never knew about publishing them until my brother encouraged me to write a book and publish it.
What's the story behind your latest book?
when I was at high school I always spoke so much about my mother subconsciously (may her soul rest in peace), until one of my friends asked me if my father was dead since I never spoke about him. He was alive but I wasn't aware he was never spoken of in my conversations. I decided to go back in time and explore this thought and combine it with other people's experiences and came out with my first book: How Fathers Lose Their Kids' Love.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
when I write I know I will be helping someone somewhere.
What are you working on next?
a book meant to inspire women.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
I would have things to talk about but not have the platform to say it. So as I write I know there is an audience now, someone somewhere will be helped in one way other, even if it is just to put a smile on their face.
