What are you working on next?
I'm working on a new elearning course for our sister company, www.mentoringuniversity.com. The course will be on Executive Mentoring. Currently we offer two courses: Mentoring Program Manager certification and Maximizing Success: Creating and Effective Mentoring Relationship.
Who are your favorite authors?
Steve Berry, Eli Weisel, Stephanie Barron. I love British mysteries, history, theology and biography.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
My work in mentoring. Being self-employed I've been able to do the work I love and live a lifestyle that allows for free time and travel.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Reading, movies, theater, dining out, the company of good friends
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
I do searches on specific topics of interest and read the reviews.
What is your writing process?
I have to be in the mood for writing and I need uninterrupted time to do so. Once I'm inspired, I can generally provide good output in a short period of time.
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
No but one of my favorite books that impacted me was "The Man Without a Country".
How do you approach cover design?
I have someone handle that to provide ideas/samples that I select from.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
Ipad so I can read both Ibooks and Kindle.
Describe your desk
Messy but I can find everything.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
Grew up in Berlin, NH and can't see that it has affected the writing that I do as my writing is strictly professional in terms of the subject of mentoring.
