What do you read for pleasure?
to put it simply, I will read anything I can get my hands on, I've been known to read the encyclopedia when nothing else was available.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
I love the simplicity of the Nook and the Kindle Fire for the colors
What book marketing techniques have been most effective for you?
Word of mouth by far.

Covered with books so I can barely find the keyboard
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in the wilds of Bergenfield NJ, moved to the affluent area of Upper Saddle River and was too geeky for the girls in the neighborhood which forced me into a vast and imaginative world of my own. That's where I began my writing career.
When did you first start writing?
Around the age of twelve
What's the story behind your latest book?
Most of my stories come to me through my dreams, almost as if they have a life of their own and I'm merely telling someone else's story
What motivated you to become an indie author?
I'm still waiting for a Query letter to come home to roost. And give me a heart attack as i never win anything.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
Being able to create a world that obeys my rules. at least, most of the time
What do your fans mean to you?
Everything. they validate what I'm doing.
What are you working on next?
A sequel to The Road to Amber

Dean Koontz, Lee Child, Steven Hunter Robert Parker, John Sanford
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
The dogs who have to go potty
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Letting the dogs in and out, feeding the horses and painting. Canning Jellies and baking.
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
I check the sites every day for new releases
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Yes, it stank.
What is your writing process?
Sit down with a brand new composition book, Bic pens and go to it. I don't have a problem finding words.
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
I started reading at the age of three, it was Grimm's Fairy tales.
How do you approach cover design?
I conned my artist friend into doing some covers and i found Bing Images to be a great source

Odd Thomas, all eight and Anything by Lee Child, Virgil Flowers and Spenser
