What are your five favorite books, and why?
Ballet for Beginners,Peter Rabbit,Pixie The Rabbit,Intelligent Child, and Ponds,Trees and Flower Gardens are my favorites. Two are children's books and I like the one I wrote about Ballet because I love Ballet and ponds is a way to make a pond, plant a tree and have a flower garden and I like how to books.The intelligent Child helps parents raise a brighter child and when my daughter was young I read it and it helped both of us.
What do you read for pleasure?
True Crime by Ann Rule
What is your e-reading device of choice?
Apple or Kindle Fire
What book marketing techniques have been most effective for you?
Finding a network and I advertise on Google.
Describe your desk
Neat and I have my computer, a lamp i bought at Goodwill and my notebook, artist supplies and good pens.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in Vernon, Texas and had family all around. My two cousins have their PHD's in English and American Studies and teach English and Journalism and are both published authors and have encouraged me.
When did you first start writing?
About 35 years ago-I started writing when I was in high school and did a term theme on the lindberg kidnapping case.
What's the story behind your latest book?
We live out in the Country near Austin, Texas and I love our fish and I wrote about how to build a pond, plant trees and have a flower garden.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
Encouragement about my books.
How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
Yes, they have been very helpful.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
I am also an artist but painting becomes like work for me but writing never does-the words just flow.
What do your fans mean to you?
My fans are very important to me because without them there would be no one to share my experiences and knowledge.
What are you working on next?
Improving my books-I have over 40 written and most are non-fiction.
Who are your favorite authors?
Ann Rule and I love Poe's poetry too.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
Each new day is a blessing.It beats the alternative.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Reading and playing with my dog-he is 12. I eat good food and go out often. i talk on the phone to old friends and my family.

I study and take notes and try to write about subjects I have experience with.

How do you approach cover design?
As an artist-I want my cover designs to be good and appealing.
Are writers born or made?
It is a gift to be able to put your thoughts on paper.
How did you get started writing and how many books and what kind do you write?
When I was quite young, I had excellent teachers of English and literature and wrote long papers when I was 12 and 13.In 2002 I was published for the first time and since then have written over 200 books and articles. I write erotica romance fiction, non fiction and suspense.
Who inspires you?
My daughter Emilie Mignon inspires me as she is also a writer and many Author do as Hemingway and Grishom.

Heart of Seduction, Forbidden and Sixteen Mail Order Brides and How To Live Well in America, Ballet in Pictures and art for Beginners.
