What do you read for pleasure?
I read romance, fictional suspense, mysteries & thrillers, autobiographies or horror. My favorite author is Stephen King.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
I use my iPad and read via the Kindle app.

Describe your desk
It gets messy but is clean underneath. Generally what builds up around me is a pile of empty water bottles.
When did you first start writing?
I've had stories waiting to be written for years. I published for the first time in 2012.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
The ability to write at my own pace. I also enjoy being able to interact with my readers- they are a HUGE influence on what I write.
How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
Smashwords has really streamlined the process and made it easy enough that even people who aren't very tech savvy are able to publish. It's been a wonderful tool and a great experience for me and I highly recommend it.
Who are your favorite authors?
Stephen King, Sue Grafton, Monica Murphy, Jonathan Kellerman, Harlan Coben, Abbi Glines, Colleen Hoover... the list goes on and on!
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Spending time with my family, catching up on chores I neglected taking care of, reading, watching movies or hanging out with friends. I've got a Gypsy soul and I love to travel!
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
Book blogs are my #1 source, followed by Goodreads, Twitter & Facebook.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
The journey that the story takes me on as it unfolds. I have plot points that I know are coming, but otherwise the stories unfold organically.
