Interview with Izaiha Zainol

Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in a metropolitan city where survival of the fittest is the game. I have seen, learnt, and experience twists and turns in doing business hence, I want to share them with my readers.
What's the story behind your latest book?
A lot of new entrepreneurs and/or inspired entrepreneurs think that doing business is a "quick fix" in uplifting their financial standing and capacity. While in most cases this may hold true, but I still think that you have to be really in the zone to get into the game. Some people excel and became successful after starting a business but there are also may of whom got worse. In my recent book, Rahsia Seorang Usahawan, I spelled out the "behind the scene" of an entrepreneur.
What do your fans mean to you?
To me, the more fans I get, the more people i helped as a fellow entrepreneur.
What are you working on next?
For my next project, I am planning to write on the things an entrepreneur needs to know in the first phase of their business. What are the knowledge and skills the require for this stage.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
My family and my businesses.
What do you read for pleasure?
Self-help books and business magazines.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
My smartphone.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
It is one more channel where I can share my knowledge and experience with my fellow entrepreneurs.
How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
It helped me produced my first e-book with ease!
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
When I have inspired people and became part of their success.
