What is your e-reading device of choice?
iPad
What book marketing techniques have been most effective for you?
Basically just word of mouth. I don't actual do much to promote my work.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in Dahlonega, Georgia. However, the time I've spent living in Los Angeles as an adult has influenced my writing more than than my time in my hometown.
When did you first start writing?
When i got out of a psychiatric institution about two years ago.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
Lack of any other viable options.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
I'm not so great at communicating with other humans, so when someone reads something I wrote and actually gets it, it means a lot to me.
What do your fans mean to you?
I'm not sure I have any hardcore fans, but anyone that takes the time to read my work is pretty awesome to me.
What are you working on next?
I'm working on the sequel to the last book I wrote, The Hell Breed.
Who are your favorite authors?
Chuck Palahniuk, Neil Gaiman, Oscar Wilde, Robert M. Pirsig
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
I usually don't.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Drinking.
