When did you first start writing?
1991
What's the story behind your latest book?
My latest book is all about helping couples survive marriage.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
I shared some of my work with a friend and she told me that I should take my writing serious, so I did.
How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
By allowing to world to see my work.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
Is that I can creatively tell my story without completely telling on myself.
What do your fans mean to you?
My readers are the life source of everything I write.
What are you working on next?
A sensual anthology!!!
Who are your favorite authors?
Robert Gordon, Brooklyn Borne and Victoria Christopher Murray.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
My children, family, writing and fashion.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Relaxing with my wonderful husband.
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
By associating myself with other great indie authors.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Yes, it was called "Frogs"
What is your writing process?
I work purely on inspiration and if that hits at 3 a.m. that is when work begins for me.

How do you approach cover design?
I always use a scene from a part of the story of my books as the cover.
What are your five favorite books, and why?
Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret. - Because it was the first book i completed as a child.
Joy by Victoria Christopher Murray - Because it caused me to want to write a book myself.
Assata - Because her biography teaches me what real strength and power looks like.
Savannah by Brooklen Borne - because it reads like a movie and plus I was model for the cover.
and last, but not least, The Routine by Robert D. Gordon - because his intricate story is dear to my heart.
What do you read for pleasure?
Travel.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
My nook glow light is the cutest little thing.
What book marketing techniques have been most effective for you?
To take a back seat to advertising until everything is complete.

Messy while writing and clean after published.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I'm a California girl forever and always and my growing there helps my writing to always have silver linings.
