Published 2014-02-09.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in Apopka Florida. A small town where everyone generally knows everyone. The high school was huge though so many people everywhere with so many stories.
When did you first start writing?
I first started writing in sixth grade and I just kind of written random paragraphs with whatever idea struck me. I didn't find out about poetry till eighth grade and I just couldn't stop. Then in tenth grade I took a creative writing class with Ms.Mcleod and she made us right a fiction story and I started writing my next book called Wallflower Goddess.
What's the story behind your latest book?
All the poems are how I interpret different situation's such as when I was told my great grandfather has dementia I was devastated and the only was I could express my feelings was through poetry.
How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
Smashwords has helped me so much. It was really easy to just publish and go.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
I like how people get inspired by my writing and feel empowered to do there own writing and come up with their own ideas.
What are you working on next?
I am still finishing Wallflower Goddess.
Who are your favorite authors?
I have so many favorite authors! I like Stephanie Meyer,Julie Kagawa, and Sarah Mclean are just a few.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
My work in the Early Childhood Program teaching pre-schoolers and twisting the crazy experiences I have to write a short story that I will later on find a place for.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I show animals, working, volunteering, singing, and teaching pre-schoolers.
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
I search free and just read the descriptions until I find one I like.
