Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
The first story I ever wrote was centered around rising against all odds in a book titled, "A Product of Me". I have been a salesman since I was nine years old, and I have used that as a mechanism not only to survive, but to look at every trial as an opportunity to push myself.
What is your writing process?
My writing process consist of blocking off certain dates and times to ensure I reach my word count.
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
The first story I ever read was, "The Cat in the Hat." It reminded me that reading and writing should be fun, which is what I like to implement for myself and my readers.
How do you approach cover design?
I do all of my cover designs, and focus on making the cover connect with the content.
What do you read for pleasure?
I read lots of books on sales, film, and business.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
I prefer to read paperback books.
What book marketing techniques have been most effective for you?
The most effective marketing technique has been online marketing and digital ads such as billboards.
Describe your desk
My desk, which I need to clear off consist of many books and notes that I use to remind myself of things I need to accomplish.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in Atlanta, and Atlanta has always been a place for creatives and it encouraged me to use my imagination.
When did you first start writing?
I began writing when I was a young child, and have enjoyed it ever since.
What's the story behind your latest book?
The story behind my latest book involves being grateful for everything in my life and teaching others to do so.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
I believe everyone's story is important and being an indie author has given me the ability to control when I write and when I release content. I enjoy the freedom of expression.
