What is your writing process?
My writing process starts in my mind where a theme develops. I put my idea into writing and the story develops.
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
Yes, I remember. It was in 1975, about traffic rules in Kenya.
How do you approach cover design?
The cover design portrays the theme in the book. I design it having in mind that it is the theme.
What do you read for pleasure?
I read newspapers and fill out crossword puzzles.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
My android phone.

I started writing in 1993.
What's the story behind your latest book?
My latest book is about drug abuse. It is in Kiswahili undergoing publication.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
Well, I thought I could reach more customers.
