  I love Lily in this story because she’s not afraid to be herself and make her own decisions. She’s tough, smart and resourceful. No matter how alone and freakish you may feel, there’s always somewhere where you will be loved, respected and appreciated for who you are.

  This story is all about character and what wonderful characters they are! Even the New Guy shines in his own way. I was sad to see it end, though I like the way the central mystery of the story was handled. I hope Tom cooks up some more adventures for these plucky, and very Zen, colonists.

  Well constructed with some nice twists. As a writer I'm definitely chuckling. I do sometimes wonder what our characters might be thinking, particularly as they are forced to suffer through multiple revisions.
