M. Erik Matlock

Well.... The Soundcheck blog didn't start until June of 2013. Seriously. But, it was born of twenty years of experience.
The Better Man blog was started on December 31st of 2012. Hours before my car burned up in the driveway... Right after telling everyone what a great year it was going to be.
Prior to that, I was the unpublished writer for several idiots who wanted ideas for dumb things to do. I also assisted my father, Glenn Matlock ( the author, not the sex pistol guy ) with comedic ideas for stuff he was working on.
I never considered myself a writer. Still not sure of that.

Apparently, it's mostly knee-jerk. Something inspires or provokes me and I just run with it. The blogs both work like that. The books just evolved from the stories on the blogs.
