Jenna Jaxon has been reading and writing historical romance since she was a teenager. The first historical romance she read was The Wolf and the Dove by Kathleen Woodiwis. It is still a favorite read.
A romantic herself, Jenna has always loved a dark side to the genre (probably the influence of Stephen King, a favortie author), a twist, suspense, a surprise. She tries to incorporate all of these elements into her own stories.
She lives in Virginia with her family and a small menagerie of pets. When not reading or writing, she indulges her passion for the theatre, working with local theatres as a director. She often feels she is directing her characters on their own private stage.
Heart of Deception is Jenna's first historical romance to be published. And Hog Wild is her very first erotic contemporary. She is currently working on two historical romances, one set in the Victorian period and one in medieval times, and a contemporary romance.
