I have always said it that I love books where we have independent and brave ladies and Akinyi is one of them. She did some things that made me question if I could ever have such bravery. I'm so proud of her. The romance between her and Adams was sweet and I loved the way he called her Sexy Back😋. This book didn't disappoint at all. I was just smiling. Thank you LAP for this ebook in exchange for an honest review.

Love in the bar was a sweet and fast read. It was easy to read. I couldn't stop reading it once I got on the first page. And the relationship between Leona and Dapo was beautiful. Read this book and discover how these two lovers overcome all barriers and get to be together.

Alright. Alright. Gbam. I'm here with another review. I usually don't enjoy books with myth stuff, but I finished this book in a day. It was that interesting, and I chuckled because the author's humor is really good. Especially the part where Toyin got all mad and said, "Both of you are crazy. I’m even crazier for sitting here and believing your ridiculous story. What do you think this is? A Percy Jackson novel? Demi-god indeed. And you—” She turned to face Ṣango, still seething. “Thor is a better god because nobody can lift his hammer, much less steal it, and he would never ask anybody to die for him, you stupid freak.” Go, my woman. I'd say the same too. Chapters four and seven are my favorites. I had a good laugh. You'll enjoy this book. The story is amazing, and I was curious about the ending because I had no idea how things would get fixed. But, wow, the ending was really meaningful. The romantic part is wonderful too. Oh, I was so invested. Chef-kiss. Thanks to the publisher for the e-ARC.

This book 🥺🥺🥺 First, This author is so good at portraying real romance. It was so so realistic and the sweet portrayal tugged my heart. The first two characters Nkoyo and Onen made me jealous. Like ugh. They were so so happy.🥺🥺🥺 And Nnanke and Okoi 🥲 "I would die for you" and "I will never let you die." Ah, this author 🥺🥺🥺 I love love this book. Made me want to cry at a point (Okoi and Nnanke) I know I will be re-reading this again
