Biography

Jessica Samuelsen is passionate about empowering other writers. Jessica has shown this passion through the help of her book review blog Writing Pearls. She has been a professional reviewer for several companies including InD'tale. These accomplishments inspired by the best writing advice she ever received: "The best writers are the best readers." Her published works include the poetry book Wake of 30 and her debut novel Clinging to the Stars. Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Yes, It was a story about a little orphan that found a holiday house. She became the keeper of that holiday house and just had to push a button to change for the holiday. Everyone in the village came to her house for the holidays and she was never alone.
What is your writing process?
I draft fast and furious and edit painfully slow. I am still working out my process as I just finished my first published novel. My editing process is still under construction.
