Karen Mihaljevich

Karen has been writing since she was twelve years old and has previously been published in numerous periodicals. She has recently retired from nearly 14 years with the K-9 Unit of Search and Rescue in Southern Oregon where she worked her beloved Dobermans in Area Wilderness Air Scent and Human Remains Detection. Karen and her husband of 42 years ran a business for 30 years together. Not only do they still share an office, they also share a love of laughter, family, and friends. Karen says she draws her inspiration from life, which she feels truly presents much more hilarity than her own overactive imagination can fabricate on a daily basis!
