When I first started reading this I wondered why this wouldn't be a chapter in a book instead of a short story. At the end I found out it is! By itself it was very short but enjoyable. It was great for my daughter to read as a young teen just starting fantasy. For me I found the story a little lacking, but to be fair I now know it is only a chapter from a book. Leaves you with questions for sure! As conclusion I think it could use some editing and more details. Hoping the finished book offers more!

My daughter started reading this one but found it a little difficult. So instead of wasting the story I picked it up. So glad I did. First thing I have to say is surprised a guy wrote this, not saying anything wrong, just surprising. All the witches were so much fun, some had attitudes, some were funny, but all had heart. Kind of a relief from all the romance focused youngadult fantasy. Heads up though it is a kinda advanced read, not hard but your 12-15 year olds might need some help with some of the wording. If that doesn't scare you then read it! I loved it and will recommend it.

My kid really loved this book. I read it over too and even though it is clearly for younger teens it is a really cute story. I am not sure of the age of the author but if she were to have someone look over some of the small editing this would be so much more. If you let your kid download books then this is a safe and fun one for them!
