When I first started reading this I wondered why this wouldn't be a chapter in a book instead of a short story. At the end I found out it is! By itself it was very short but enjoyable. It was great for my daughter to read as a young teen just starting fantasy. For me I found the story a little lacking, but to be fair I now know it is only a chapter from a book. Leaves you with questions for sure! As conclusion I think it could use some editing and more details. Hoping the finished book offers more!
