Wolf Medicine

The story's concept is good; delivery is not.
While there were several parts that received adequate attention, for the majority of my read, I felt that the author's development of character and plot was skimpy. As a reader, I want more.
This is the lowest rating I've ever given to an author's work. Whether a 'read' is free or paid for I expect quality writing. I want to find myself immersed in the story, invested in the characters, and so much a part of the setting that I feel its reality. That was not the case in "Wolf Medicine".
My hope is that the author's subsequent writings will evidence a greater maturity and that perhaps that this title would undergo an intensive rewrite.
