Biography
Nan O'Berry grew up by the shores of the Elizabeth River, in Tidewater, Virginia. But two horses later, it became clear the family needed to move west. She now claims five acres, near Smithfield, Virginia as home along with two cats, a dog, two horses, a pony, and a Black Angus cow to round out the menagerie. Still, she finds time to write about her first love—cowboys.
