This is the final book of a well-written trilogy by Roger Parkinson. I highly recommend all three books! This story isn't your stereotypical fantasy; it goes its own way with memorable characters and convincing world-building giving one a sense of a much larger history and adventures beyond the book. The other thing I enjoyed was the author's sense of humor which shows through in subtle ways and makes the people and situations feel authentic and real. Definitely worth a read!
