Good plot line, however, the writing was odd and the characters could use a little more development

Good writing, nice plot but to short. Story felt more like a first chapter rather than a short story. I would love to see the story developed into a longer novel. I don't feel to cheated, I like that 50% goes to The pet fund.
Again, Sara Barton had me giggling. Her characters are funny and relatable. "Henry Hartman's Holiday Crisis: An "Off-the-Books" Mystery #1" is a fun read with a great plot. I am looking forward to reading more adventures with Henry and Syd.
Great story telling. The characters are well written and make you want to cheer for the good guys. I like this take on the vampire character, it is original and has a plausible place in the real world. Can't wait to read the next installment
Just finished this, the end of Gio & B's story. This is by far one of the most gripping and well written series I have read in a very long time. There is a well rounded blend of action, drama and humor that has the reader pulling for the heroes. I could see this series being made for the big screen as long as the story line is maintained (re: if it ain't broke, don't fix it). This is a must read series.
The second in the series, moves the saga along at a good pace. Of the 4 books, this wasn't my favorite but it is essential to the story. So read this and be prepared for a wild ride in the next two books
Good story line that is easy to read. I liked the characters and the writer's style. It does need some editing, especially at the end and I would have liked have seen the end a little more developed. All in all, though, a nice read.
I'm giving it three stars due to the editing issue.
