Stevie McGarrity-Alderdice

Stevie McGarrity-Alderdice is the eighth child and seventh son of Jimmy and Nellie from Dumbarton in Glasgow. In 2006 Stevie did a foundation in the arts at Kingston University. He was then accepted to do a degree in Fine Art at Kingston University. While doing his degree Stevie became more interested in performance art. It was also during this time that he met his collaborator, the artist Yoshiko Shimida from Japan. In 2011 Stevie applied for an MA in performance and visual practice at Brighton University, which he passed with Distinction.
