A good story! Read this in one go because I was really enjoying it. I like the way Rob embraces his new sexual identity and it is nice to see Lexington, Peter and the others have good and bad sides. Oh, and the sex is hot! Recommended.
  • My Boyfriend Is A Dog (Wolf) on May 10, 2015

I really enjoyed this. It's funny, lighthearted and stuffed full of sex. Def recommended.
  • The Beast on Jan. 02, 2016

Tonnes of emo and sex. A fun dark opera of a book!
  • Norseman's Deception on Aug. 07, 2016

This is a classic bodice ripper, with oodles of forced sex that becomes consensual as the story matures. I haven't read a story like this since dipping into my mum's Mills and Boon novels, so it was pleasantly familiar. The plot is pretty straightforward, with the feisty, beautiful Thora running away from a forced marriage to the evil Hersir being rescued by Ari, a rugged handsome hero who's got problems of his own after being falsely accused. No spoilers but you can guess how it comes together. Norseman’s Deception is exactly what you’d expect from the cover. The attraction in books like these lies in their genre. All the glances are hot, all the heroines toss their hair, and it's adjectives galore. I enjoyed it. You sink into a book like this to relax, and Gianna Simone delivers exactly what’s promised. It's charmingly written, and where the old books used to rely on kisses and sighs, this one gets right into it, with lots of sweaty, heaving, I-hate-loving-you passion. The wolves Kati and Kata added a nice touch too, letting us see Ari’s warm side throughout. It's a fun, fast read. Book was provided by the Author through the BDSM group on Goodreads in return for an honest review.
  • Docklands Diamond on Nov. 25, 2016

I love Savannash Smythe, now rebranded as SA Smythe, so I was expecting to enjoy Docklands Diamond - and I did! Docklands Diamond is laugh out loud funny, tender and sexy in turns. I do love the banter and sense of fun that trademarks British romance novels. It’s so real, and so incredibly human. I think heartwarming is the word I’m looking for. Alex and his talking cock, Broadsword, had me in fits of giggles. I also liked Leith, the playboy with the dark side, Kento, the fun and sensible friend, Shirley, the embarrassing mum, and Willow, the no-nonsense witch. Critical reviews mean pointing out the rough with the smooth. There’s nothing bad about this book at all, except that I wasn’t in the mood for a lot of sex, and as it’s an erotic romance, I skipped a few of the longer scenes. It didn’t worry me because the story kept me enthralled.
