Valerie Kessler

I am a twenty-four year old who has had a passion for reading and writing since I learned how at a very young age. I have always wanted to realize my dream of becoming a professional author. I recently finished my first novel which I am in the process of editing and making publishable. In the mean time I plan to publish short stories and poetry here on smashwords.

I write mostly fantasy or science fiction but have recently delved into horror.

When I am not writing I am attending school to study engineering, crafting, taking photographs, playing with my BJD's, watching movies on Netflicks, rocking out to my Pandora, leading a Girl Scout Troop for fourth and fifth graders, and camping.

I was born and raised in Dundalk, Maryland and currently live with my parents, two older sisters, two cats, two hedgehogs, and a frog.
