Biography
BC HARTWELL grew up in Lyons, IL, a small suburb of Chicago where the pursuit of adventure was admired and the ability to tell a good story, prized. At the age of eight, he knew he wanted to do both. So he went on to become a professional travel guide, enjoying a variety of adventures over a thirteen-year career: bus tours, cruises, business retreats, winter ski weeks and spring break excursions. While so many of his life experiences make for good storytelling, his passionate voice and spiritual sense make those stories memorable. He and his wife Jenny still live in the Chicago suburbs where they’ve taken on the most challenging adventure of all: raising two teenage girls, Tess and Taite.
