Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
Yes, The very first story I read on my own was Dr. Suess Fox in Socks. I believe it did open up my imagination a little, allowed me to fall in love with books.
How do you approach cover design?
I have been fortunate enough to make friends with several artists. When considering a cover I give an outline of possible items I would like to see on the cover. This with a little artistic freedom from the artists, we usually find just the perfect fit for every story.
