In summary, the main character (Thomas) inevitably awakens to a life worth living; a five story compilation loosely intertwined, sprinkled with fantasy, romance, adventure, and a message that takes you on this journey with him. My viewpoint of the characters Mac, Larry, Spirit, Luc, Dinah and Jennifer were all like one in the same with (Thomas) as the ever-present helper working through, with, and for certain characters in each scene keeping them safe in battle. The most interesting aspect is how Shadows of Doubt’s depiction flows in succession with comparisons highlighting different stages of the transformation of “Thomas”. A telling culmination of life lived and not seen until… I found the stories were embellished just enough to paint a vivid picture of how choices we make for good or bad will always render consequences and how to succeed in fighting the fight with all that has made you who and what you are. Embrace the journey with the gift of life.
