Biography
I started writing in 2009 on a whim - I heard about a contest on an erotic writing website and thought, what the hell? It was the beginning of a rewarding and deeply satisfying period in my life; I began writing regularly for the site, and the feedback and encouragement I received there gave me the courage to strike out on my own and try to make a real go of this.
I've been a story teller for most of my life - when I was a young child, I would often dream up complex and continuous narratives for book and television characters that I came across. Some of their story arcs lasted for years, with me adjusting their character development and responses as I grew older and more sophisticated in my thinking.
I hope this doesn't make me sound crazy.
I penned my first "novel" in 2009 - a silly and nonsensical thing about two gay guys, a a sex shop, a vandalized Greenpeace office, missing water coolers, and terrorists. It gets more and more ridiculous every time I reread it, but I can't bring myself to get rid of it - I love it for it's unashamed cuckoolander quality, and reminds me of how much fun it is to write badly.
After that, I got more serious about creating a real story - a story that would affect people and make them happy to be alive and reading. I hope I can achieve that.
