Dan Dobos

In the first two decades of his life, Dan Dobos lived the experience of communism and from his early years he saw in science-fiction and fantasy a way of escaping the dreary reality, a window towards a freedom which the Romanians could only dream about. Dan Dobos made his debut in mainstream science-fiction and fantasy literature while still in high school, being published in many literary magazines.
At the present time, Dan Dobos is indisputably the best selling Romanian science-fiction and fantasy author. He is also editor in chief at the regional daily newspaper "Evenimentul" which appears in Iasi.
When asked about his future plans, the author says that he likes to leave room for every possibility.
