Dave Swinyard

Dave is the author of the Highlanders series set in Scotland during the early part of the 18th century. He grew up in south London, but left home at the age of 16 to join the RAF. During his time in the RAF he spent many years in the north of Scotland where he spent much of his spare time walking in the mountains and visiting museums and castles. It was the sights and history of the area that inspired him to write.
His most recent work is a fast paced fantasy novel that combines the mythology of Scotland with that of New Zealand.
Dave lives in Tuaranga, New Zealand, where amongst other things, he competes with his dogs in agility and Flygility.
