Okkk I read this in less than a day, even though I had planned for it to entertain me for a few days. I just couldn't take my eyes off it. A sweet sweet sweet romance full of tear-jerking emotions and a hint of bitter drama and desperation. Observing the tight bond between the father and son, made me feel I was intruding in their sacred time. A secret relationship nobody else is supposed to know or understand. Truth be told, I was on the brim of tears myself from page one, until those tears gave away halfway in the story. Most father/son stories I've read so far, are based on a twisted or abusive relationship, maybe a present/absent father who doesn't love his son, etc but nothing like that here. Quillon's Covert is absolutely refreshing. A book I'm rereadong and definitely adding to my paperback collection.
