I imagine the teens I see all over nowadays when I hear Alice. Their sullen demeanor, sarcastic cynicism and generally self-absorbed existences. The character is well described, and there are some beautiful phrases of description in this story. I was relieved to see God in it, however one-sided and misrepresented I charge He was. My opinion. This story held my attention and I didn't stop reading until I finished.
