Review by: Dianne Harman on Feb 4, 2013 This was a wonderful quick read which explores the dominant/submissive nature present in relationships. The author brilliantly conveys the sexual tension between the husband and wife, while delving into the psychology of their relationship. The writing is crisp and I applaud any writer who can convey the essence of a relationship and its characters in so few pages. While there are a number of disclaimers in the beginning, I found nothing in the book that was offensive. Hey, sex has been around forever and it's not going away. It needs to be brought out of the closet and this author masterfully does this. Nice job, Ms. Stonor! Surprisingly, I'm looking forward to her other books. Wouldn't have said that prior to reading this one! I believe in genre expansion, and thanks, to the author, I'm enjoying doing this. I highly recommend it!
  • Confessions of an Instinctively Mutinous Baby Boomer and her Parable of the Tomato Plant on Aug. 19, 2013

This is simply a wonderful book which offers hope to everyone who has ever struggled with almost any human condition. The writer doesn't whitewash anything, indeed, she willing shares the triumphs and struggles which take place in her life. Confessions belongs on the nightstand. When hope is not at hand, it can be. The book made this reader want to meet the author and become a friend. I'm not sure I can give a higher recommendation than that! Kudos, Ms. Roberts, I sincerely hope our paths cross.
  • Just Between Us- Inspiring Stories by Women on Oct. 22, 2013

This is a wonderful compilation of short stories by six women. I admire their courage for baring their pasts and cheer that each one was able to find a form of peace through their relationship with Christianity. Make no mistake - the stories are personal and gritty. That each one was able to overcome whatever their adversity was is a testament to them,to their faith, and gives hope to all who are presently struggling with some form of adversity. This is a book that makes you believe again! Enjoy!
